Happy holidays everyone! Just wanted to give a couple quick heads-up (head-ups? heads-ups?):

1. Ooblets is discounted on Steam and on Nintendo Switch right now for their winter sales! You can also gift copies through Steam in case you know anyone you think would like playing. And Ooblets runs really well on Steam Deck!
2. If you’re okay waiting a few weeks for shipments to go out, Fangamer has physical Switch copies and three different Ooblets plushies, all available now!
3. The Ooblets Wintertime Event is live right now across PC, Switch, and Xbox, so if you haven’t played it yet, now’s a great time to jump in and collect all the limited-time goodies (and oobmobiles) before the event ends on Jan 10.

New plushies from Fangamer!!

Clomper and Glanter are joining Shrumbo, just in time for the holidays!

We're so excited to get this update out in time for Halloween, particularly because we made a handful of special Halloween oobmobiles only available during the event.

So what are oobmobiles?? Here's a bit of background on the update:

It took a bit longer than we had hoped, but the v1.3.34 patch is now out on Switch and it should be live for everyone. If you've been waiting on those Switch bugfixes before playing the new Halloween event content, now's your time to play it! Make sure your game is updated and you can see the cauldron in town. We really appreciate everyone's patience while we got it sorted out.

The Halloween Event will run until Nov 15th so you should have enough time to do everything you want in it.

It's now been about a week since we launched on Steam and I wanted to thank everyone so much for making it go so well. If you did buy it on Steam, it would be really helpful to us and other players if you left a user review.

🎃 The 2023 Halloween Event is now live on all* platforms! 🎃

In all the excitement of announcing our upcoming Steam launch (Oct 5th!) we forgot to mention that the shrumbo plushies from Fangamer have arrived!

They’re our first ever official plushies and they turned out really great.

We just got ours delivered yesterday and they're incredibly soft and squishy. Our son immediately took to his shrumbo and has been systematically introducing it to every single item in the house.

Our cozy & weird farming, creature collection, RPG, life sim, dance-battler, deck-building card strategy, adventure, friendship… everything game is finally arriving on Steam!

😮‍💨 Major bug fixed!

It's been a tough couple of days for us as we tried to do a fun surprise launch of the 1.1 Update on Sunday night but ended up surprising everyone with a major bug that would crash the game nonstop.

I stayed up late into the night until I figured out what was going wrong, tested my fix until we were pretty confident about it, and submitted it to cert on Monday. It just got through a couple hours before this email is being sent and seems to have done the trick! You may need to manually check for updates if it doesn't auto-update.

To anyone who couldn't load their saves or was dealing with the crashes, we're really sorry for the inconvenience and are so appreciative of your patience as we got it sorted out ❤️

It’s been a little while so I wanted to give everyone a peek into what we’ve been working on in Ooblets:

The big news is that our first Localization Update is nearly complete and will be launching very soon (we’re hoping in a week or two). It’s got French, Spanish (LatAm), and German translations of all the game text and dialogue.
